When I had that moment with Windows 10 and discovered it wasn't possible, I had only one option. Throughout my Windows experience I've almost always had a time when I just wanted to revert to the good old, solid classic theme. My very first Windows was 95, but 98 is the one I fell in love with (despite the occasional instabilities). Even When Windows XP/Vista/7 brought the Luna(XP) and Aero(Vista and later) themes with it which looked nice as well in my opinion, I would just switch back to classic because that's what I preferred and was so used to.
I was always attracted to this theme ever since Windows 95 released and when Windows 98 brought the gradient title bars with it, I thought those were so freakin' cool. So, your recreation of the Classic Theme is a welcome addition to the mix. Although I can tolerate the default Windows 8/8.1/10 theme by MIcrosoft if I had to, it just looked depressing to me and I hated when Microsoft ditched the Classic Theme option for Windows 8 and later. A "modernised" classic version, that adds very few and very subtle modern elements, such as mouseover highlights. A fully recolourable UI - so you can recreate that hideous Eggplant colour scheme Windows used to have! This is very much a first attempt/work in progress, so some items may be missing (please comment below and I'll attempt to fix). I have done my utmost best to remain as faithful as possible to the original Windows 98 standard theme, including the exact colour codes used, with some licence to change things that simply would not look good with the way Windows 10's UI is structured. This is my very first attempt at WindowBlinds skinning. I was quite disappointed when I learned that Microsoft removed the ability to apply the classic Windows 9x theme to Windows 10, and all the themes attempting to recreate it I found on the Internet were juuuuust not quite perfect.
